The Sony Gun Zoom Microphone is a microphone that attaches to the Multi-Interface Shoe on Sony cameras. The microphone isolates the sound from the subject while ignoring ambient noise. The gun mode locks the microphone in a fixed pick-up pattern, and the zoom mode automatically adjusts the pick-up pattern in relation to the zoom, narrowing the range as you zoom further. Zoom Mode requires a camera or camcorder with a zoom lens. It has a removable wind screen that helps shooting outdoors. This is a great way to add high quality professional audio to any compatible Sony camera or camcorder.
