Blackmagic Cloud Pod
Convert your USB-C disk into network storage using the Blackmagic Cloud Pod. It is ideal to use when you want or share a media disk with multiple users on the network. You can access files faster due to its high-speed 10G Ethernet connection.
Designed for Film and Television
It’s ideal for film and television because you can record onto USB-C flash disks and then use Cloud Pod to make the disk available on the network for multiple editors and colorists to use.
Portable and Quiet Design
It is small and thin in design because it doesn't have internal storage and this makes it very portable. It features two USB-C ports to host two separate USB disks on your network at the same time. The 10G Ethernet port gives it extremely high performance. HDMI monitoring output allows you to watch a live graphic view of the storage operating on a TV or monitor.
Live Sync to Dropbox
Through live sync, you can work much faster because files are instantly available without the need to download. Blackmagic Cloud Pod will constantly work to stay in sync. You can save space on your computer plus you can share your files with everyone on the network.
Distribute Files Globally
Through Dropbox sync, Blackmagic Cloud Pod units can now share files globally. That’s ideal when you have large datasets or massive digital film and video files. These files need to be used regularly and internet connections are too slow to handle them. Syncing the files to local storage eliminates delays in accessing them.
Real-Time Monitoring
Through HDMI monitoring output you can simply connect a TV or computer monitor to get a live status of the Blackmagic Cloud Pod. The storage map shows a graphic representation of the memory core and real-time read and writes access happening for the connected users.
High Performance 10G Ethernet
The high-speed 10G Ethernet port is only found on expensive workstation computers that give you 10 times the speed of regular Ethernet. The Blackmagic Cloud Pod can run the 10G Ethernet port to its maximum capacity. Even when connected to an Ethernet switch with dozens of users accessing files at the same time.
