It powers some holiday cheer!We participated in the Portland, OR Christmas Ships parade for the first time this year. We bought the Yeti 1000 Core to power our light display. It handles it with plenty of watts to spare. We have both USB powered and AC powered lights strings. Being able to use the inverter AC power and DC power at the same time is pretty cool. Our current light display only consumed about 10% of the battery over the 3 hour parade. After the holidays, we will use it as short term emergency power to run our WIFI and a few lights for a few hours. Great little box!

Great solutionMy Son is an insulin dependent diabetic. We have to have a way to keep a fridge going should there be any type of power outage and the Yeti 1000 core and the Boulder 100 solar generator is a great solution. It is stored in a Faraday Bag also from Goal Zero. Also if you are wondering, the customer service with this company is outstanding.

When I hook up the solar panel on a sunny day it uses no battery reserve at all to run my fridge..
This is giving me the power to consider expanding my offering to maybe even including ice cream

yeti 1000ordered and recieved yeti1000 core and a boulder package of 2 100w panels.
have charged unit using home power, haven't hooked up the panels yet, but that seems strait forward. this set up is for an off grid camp, a primitive cabin in adirondacks. this should power some lights and a small radio, recharge the phone and tablet. no internet or wi-fi available in the area, but we are planing to power an antenna and wi-fi modem for the cell phone, as needed.
unit it nice, solid, and when it is 9 or 10 months old, has been moved back and forth from home to camp, drained and recharged, etc... and if it is still humming along, 4 stars go to 5.
boulder package came with a 12 ga wire high power cable, i missed that in description ( if it was even there) and wound up buying a 30' cable, that is 8mm 16ga. didnt need it, glad because 16 ga. is a 25% power drop. will keep it for a back up. will probably get 2 more 100w panels when funds allow.
would reccommend a 1000 'X' for the expansion capability, i personally will not need that.
bought some lighting as well - love it.

Works very well,happy that I spent the money.I wanted to actually try this Yeti 1000 out before I wrote a review . We went to an off grid cabin,I took this Yet I 1000 to run an oscillating fan.
It performed well,ran the fan for 4 nights ,about 9 hours each night and still had 22% left,not enough left for another night but close.
But if you want a review on a well used Yet I,let me tell you about our Yeti 400.
My wife has sleep apnea and has to have a Bi-Pap
to sleep nightly.
She ran an eight to ten year old Yeti 400 (with 2 additional batteries) for 9 hours a night for four nights and still had 60% left.She drew power thru the DC port,not the AC.
These 3 total batteries are all lead acid and at least eight years old,maybe as much as ten.
This system gets used quite frequently as it is due to the remoteness if our home in the Appalachians.
Over the years I have bought 2 boulder 100 panels,numerous lite house lanterns,the Yet I 400 and now the Yeti 1000 and do not regret buying any of these products.
You can find cheaper power stations and solar panels from other companies but if you want something to depend on buy it from Goal Zero. I am proof of thier quality.

Delightful double solutionWe needed to have backup power during wildfire season and also have power for off-the-grid camping, on a limited budget. The Yeti 1000X plus the Boulder 100 Briefcase is a fantastic solution. It ran our big home refrigerator for over 14 hours without needing recharge and easily cooled our camping frig in 2 hours. An added bonus is that both components are light enough weight for us to carry them as we get older. Here's to more adventures!

Love this productI have been using Goal Zero for about 5 yrs. I started with 150 as I was new to van life. I now have a1500 and the new one of 1000. I have 3 100 panels.
It’s easy for me to use, love the customer service.
I belong to a women’s group that have over 40,000 wome and we meet in different states and I’m always showing them how easy it is to use .
I installed one of the panels on top of my roof and I always have my power station charged .
Fits all my needs and I could be off grid for a while .

Best generator everI have had my Yeti1000 for a few years. Sure I have used it off the grid. But the best use is to have it charged when the power goes out at home. Keeps my refrigerator cold, provides light and powers either my fan or heater depending on the season. Truly makes losing power manageable. Best investment.

Very disappointedBought mine in May 2022. Now it can’t seem to charge up past 89%. Each time I use it I seem to lose on how much charge it will take. Actually now it won’t charge unless something is running on it. Then it only charges normallyt for a few minutes then slows to a trickle. Take the item off running on it and charging stalls. Just goes on and off but doesn’t charge. 89% seems to be my 100% now. Hoping I have some kind of warranty still.

Great ProductGot the 1000x primarily to power my Dometic fridge/freezer while overlanding and it will last for 3-4+ days depending on conditions. Excellent balance between bulk, weight and capabilities. Needed some recalibration early on but easy to do. Highly recommend.

Good system, but….Great overall battery system and it was a fairly good fit for my needs but…. If I was able to find more info about this battery prior to purchasing I would have stepped up to the 1500X instead, but there were limited reviews and videos available on the 1000X. Also I purchased this in a kit with a boulder 100 briefcase. Which I found to be severely disappointing with charge times with the 1000X. For the cost on 1 boulder 100 briefcase I was able to purchase a portable 400 watt panel setup which is far better and LIGHTER. Than the GZ kit.

Overland CampingMy wife and I just took our new Goal Zero out for a 4 day off grid camping trip. It worked great. I have to use a CPAP and it never went below 63%. We hooked the solar up and on a cloudy day we got it back to 91% charged. We have a overland teardrop camper. And we used it for everything except our ARB fridge/freezer. If you like to take your rig off the beaten path this is a great investment.

Does the job!I had been wanting the Goal Zero Yeti 1000X for some time. I have purchased the Yeti 150 as well as the Yeti 500X. The only complainant that I have found is that the charging box gets very hot when charging the 1000X. I haven't found any other issues. I have used it for just about anything you can think of...cellphones, tablets, computers, fans, lanterns, heaters, blow-dryers, and hair straighteners. I haven't had to use it yet, for anything major, but I have no doubts if I had to it would do the job!

Power and durability when you need itThis product with the yeti tanks is amazing. We were in a freak thunderstorm and it wiped out tents all over the place. We were not in the position to worry about getting our solar system out of the storm but basically running for cover. This system provided all the power it needed to and charged well with the solar panels. Need less to say the system actually survived the storm and got wet. Highly recommend this unit.
