Returns

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.
You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges. 
You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days. 
If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery. If there is carrier damage, please contact [email protected] with your order number and a description of the damage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from You can do it PROS: Plugged into a console, powered up with phantom. No significant noise or hum when hand passed near element. Pop filter is a must. Detented gooseneck holds position. 360º friction position mic head holds place. The rotation area of gooseneck is rubber and should help isolate to reduce transfer of shock. Frequency response appears to have ample low and high, i.e. is useable. Preamp appear good. Mini-xlr disconnect from preamp will decrease weight strain on wire, easier to store. More than enough output. You may or may not want a -10db pad (Typical of condenser). Clip jaws are soft and serrated. Inside of jaw is open to accommodate edge of drum rim or roll of sax bell. CONS: Wire is on the small side. Mention not from fear of break but could be easily severed. Clip spring is on the soft side. I pulled it out and gave a stretch, helped. Serrated jaws are slippery. I roughed with 80 grit sandpaper which greatly improved and made soft spring seem of lesser issue. Sadly this is an omni-directional mic, not mentioned (at least I could not find) in Knox specs. Normally this makes a mic useless under many circumstances. Improved by removing element cover, fitting piece of electric tape against the red foam and another over rear of element. I did see a reduction in sensitivity and believe mic will now be useful. With windscreen installed the front/rear of element is obscured. Use a white paint pen to draw a line down the rubber isolation section to denote front. FINALE: Be realistic, this is a very inexpensive mic, and given it is on $30 it works admirably well. Issues can be worked with making it useable and a good value. Certainly versatile. It is worth having in the mic box for when a quick solution is required. Instrument use, not vocal. That said if you doubled up another foam windscreen you could in a pinch use it for a vocal or speech if you had nothing more appropriate. I feel confident to suggest a purchase.
