It features a maximum aperture of f/2.8 across the entire 4.1x zoom ratio covering a focal range from 17-70mm. It offers a full-frame equivalent focal range of 25.5-105mm. It is perfect for everyday use and delivers optical performance. It is equipped with Tamron's VC (Vibration Compensation) mechanism that leverages AI technology while shooting video, minimizing camera shake.

It uses 16 elements in 12 groups and includes two GM (Glass Molded Aspherical) lens elements and one hybrid aspherical lens element that maintain edge-to-edge resolution. This makes it versatile for various purposes, from portraits and street snapshots to landscapes and even close-ups.

High-Performance Autofocus System
