Vortex VMX-3T Reflex Sight Magnifier
The Vortex VMX-3T Red Dot Sight Magnifier is here to magnify the image transmitted by an unmagnified red dot sight by up to 3x the normal magnification. This secondary optic mounts directly behind the weapon's primary optic, allowing the shooter to co-witness standard tactical style iron sights. The Vortex VMX-3T features windage and elevation correction that allows the shooter to align the magnifier with the red dot without affecting the impact point of the primary optic. When the extra 3x magnification is not required, an integrated quick-release flip mount allows the Reflex Sight Magnifier to be shifted aside so only the primary optic is visible.
Functionality
The Vortex VMX-3T red dot magnifier gives you the image quality and durability needed for years of high-performance. The fully multi-coated lens system allows for maximum light transmission from the primary optic. The magnifier has an aluminum housing with a corrosion-resistant hard coat finish and is nitrogen-filled for weather-resistant and fogproof operation. Combined with the long 3.25-inch eye relief and a focused objective lens, the Vortex magnifier is backed by Vortex's VIP Unconditional Lifetime Warranty.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.
You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.Â
You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.Â

Better than expectedReading reviews people said that unit flips out to the left, which would make using both eyes an issue. After receiving the item I found it was able to flip left or right. This make this unit highly functional. Love the clarity. Perfect with the red dot unit. Good for beginners or expert. Some people stated that the 2 moa would be better but I find the 4 moa to be perfectly functional

Love these magnifiersOur suppressor company runs a lot of test guns and, after running one of these behind a Vortex holographic soft, I ordered 2 more for a couple more of our AR platforms. Excellent performance, and we're pretty hard on our test rigs. Also, customer support is excellent

Vortex optic 3x magnifierThe glass is great on this. When training at the range, it is easy to use and maneuver with the mount that comes with it. It really levels up your ability to sight in your rifle as well as get a clearer look at what your aiming at. I haven’t had any issues with it yet but as I continue to put it through the ringer I will update my review. If you’re looking for a magnifier, this is a great option.

The construction is solid and action is smooth, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t get the solely for how cool it looks. I have it mounted with the Strikefire II on a 10.5” AR. So far no complaints, have nearly 1000 rounds through it with no jiggle or loss of zero.

Great add on for my AR-15. I run this in conjunction with a red dot. The flip down option is great when magnification isn't needed. I have my flip up iron sights underneath the rear of it so if I loose my red dot I can flip this down and pop up my iron sights and still keep shooting away.

Put this on my rifle and use it on distances past 50 yards. Makes it so much better to effective at longer distances. The flip function helps with up close and just taking it out of the equation. I use it with my red dot and they work well together.

Duty gearWith my eyes getting old I decided to add this to my Red Dot on my AR-15. Excellent product. This has been riding around in my patrol vehicle for a long time with no issues. Best part is I know that even if I do have an issue Vortex has an amazing warranty.

Incredibly clear optics. Easy to flip in and out of field of view. When flipped in front of a red dot or holographic sight it extends the range of you precision out to 150+ yards and when it is not needed it easily flips out of the way for close in targets. Great for beginner, intermediate and expert shooters. I believe it is the best value in a 3X magnifier. Can't go wrong with this optic.

So easy to use and just fitsI have this set up with a Strikefire II and I'm very pleased with how easy it was to set up and use. I see a lot of mentions of eye relief, but I felt like there was no issue at all. It's a no brainer for any red dot platform and I think I'll get another one.

Best glass for the price.The glass is extremely clear, clearer than other competitors like Eotech. For the casual to duty user this is an excellent magnifier. I'm not sure about the durability for for civilian users you can't beat Vortex's lifetime guarantee.
I don't love the button mount, I think vortex should definitely make a few variants of mount for this optic and its Micro magnifiers.
