Audio-Technica AT33EV Phonograph Cartridge
For over 50 years Audio-Technica has worked alongside leading figures in broadcasting and music to develop and hone a wide range of products with the highest level of audio. The Audio-Technica AT33EV Elliptical Nude Stereo Turntable Cartridge is a 0.3 x .07 mil elliptical stylus phonograph cartridge designed for compatibility with 1/2" mount that will have you loving the true sound quality that only vinyl records can supply. It features a dual moving design to give you increased channel separation and extended frequency response range to deliver extraordinary audio quality.
Elliptical Stylus
The Audio-Technica AT33EV cartridges' stylus features a .03 x .07 mil elliptically shaped tip of the stylus cone with a tapered Duralumin cantilever. This intuitive design reduces the effective mass of the cartridge, resulting in a more durable cantilever for longer lasting life. The nude square shank construction has a lower mass than bonded styli and tracks more accurately. The grain oriented nude styli last longer than your typical styli.
Dual Moving Design
The Dual Moving on the AT33EV Phonograph Cartridge has superior clarity and transparency of tone, better defined transients, precise stereo imaging and lower distortion than magnet designs. The MC design features 2 coils attached to the stylus, and move within the field of a fixed permanent magnet. The coils are much smaller than moving magnet cartridge coils and made from very thin copper wire. This results in a very lightweight design, allowing for a better response and a more detailed reproduction. Neodymium magnets dramatically increase magnetism while PCOCC coils give you high separation and wide-response. Vibration Control Hanenite rubber eliminates any unwanted vibrations.
Superior Sound
The AT33EV Cartridge has 2g of tracking force for just the right amount of pressure on the vinyl. With 30 dB of channel separation and a frequency response of 15 Hz to 50 kHz, you can be sure of accurate and detailed audio reproduction. A center shield plate located between the left and right channels reduces crosstalk for minimum noise.
