Elliptical Stylus

The Audio-Technica VM530EN cartridges' stylus features a .03 x .07 mil elliptically shaped tip of the stylus cone with an aluminum pipe cantilever. This intuitive design allows for more precision than a conical tip, improving frequency response, phase response, and lowering distortion. The nude rounded shank construction has a lower mass than bonded styli and tracks more accurately. The grain oriented nude styli last longer than your typical styli.

Dual Magnet Design

The Vertical Dual Magnet on the VM530EN Phonograph Cartridge uses the 90° V-Shape of the cutter head. Two transducer coils are mounted in each wall of the 90° record groove. The dual V Mount magnet configuration delivers outstanding channel separation, extended frequency response as well as superb tracking and low distortion, giving you outstanding tonal and sound quality. This style achieves more accurate tracking, excellent channel separation, high definition stereo image and extreme clarity across the audio spectrum. Paratoroidal coils improve generating efficiency in the durable low-resonance polymer housing.

Superior Sound

The VM530EN Cartridge has 2g of tracking force for just the right amount of pressure on the vinyl. With 27 dB of channel separation and a frequency response of 20 Hz to 25 kHz, you can be sure of accurate and detailed audio reproduction. A center shield plate located between the left and right channels reduces crosstalk for minimum noise.

Universal Headshell

Featuring a lightweight aluminum die-cast body, the AT-HS10BK is a universal 1/2" mount headshell for 4-pin turntable cartridges designed to minimize vibration. Achieve precision placement of the stylus onto to record thanks to the front-positioned finger lift. The headshell is equipped with gold-plated lead wires for lossless signal transmission.
