The EHX Voice Box Vocal Harmony Machine and Vocoder packs a multi-functional vocal synth processor into a tough and compact chassis. The harmony processor creates 2 to 4 part harmonies directly from your vocals, in the same key as your accompanying instrument. The Electro Harmonix Voice Box Harmony Machine and Vocoder studio-quality reverb lets you independently add depth to your dry and harmony vocals. The focused 256-band articulate vocoder, designed by the same EMS genius who made vocoding famous, features adjustable harmonic enhancement and controllable formant shift. Plug in your mic and your instrument, and let your new voice or voices be heard. It harmonically matches any electric instrument you plug into it. The professional quality pitch shifting algorithm produces realistic harmonies. The Low and High Harmony independently produces two harmony notes, 3rd and 5th. It also has 9 accessible programmable presets, a natural glissando. The gender bender knob allows for male and female formant modification. It has built-in mic pre with phantom power and gain switch. The balanced XLR Line Output interface directly with any mixing board or A and D converter. It comes with Power supply. The Blend Knob has wet and dry control for the effect output jack. The Dry Reverb Knob is a volume control for the reverb that is applied to the dry vocals. The Harmony Reverb Knob is a volume control for the reverb that is applied to the effected vocals. The Gender Bender Knob formant shift corresponds roughly to the length of the vocal tract while the Voice Mix Knob mixes between two different voices. In most cases it mixes between a low harmony voice (counter - clockwise position) and a high harmony voice (clockwise position).
