Korg KR-11 Compact and Portable Rhythm Box with Acoustage Bass Technology

Portable and simple to use, the KORG KR-11 Rhythm Box is a rather unusual way to practice and play wherever you want. The newly launched KR-11 is packed with features, offering ways to add an element of fun to your daily practice sessions. The KR-11 compact rhythm box draws inspiration from the pioneering Korg Doncamatic. With a portable design and stylish look, the KR-11 introduces 126 distinct rhythm patterns and 14 dedicated user programs, thereby adding a new dimension to your instrumental practice and performances.  It features a simple knob turn that gives access to numerous practice possibilities. This rhythm box is equipped with a handy tap-tempo function and swing feature. You can easily edit, save, or create from scratch any rhythm you want. Additionally, the KR-11 boasts impressive performance capabilities, which include seamless pattern changes via the pedal switch, giving way for versatility in your practice and live performances.

The KORG KR-11 is a portable machine that is battery-powered and lightweight. The built-in speaker of the KR-11 allows for easy on-the-spot playing of rhythmic phrases. Apart from fundamental patterns like 8-beat and 16-beat, the KR-11 features ‘Blues and R&B,' and ‘Country’ tailor-made for guitarists, and ‘Island’ for ukulele. Apart from these 3-beat patterns, the rhythm machine features some intricate five- and seven-beat patterns. The swing function adds a touch of versatility to each pattern.

The Korg KR-11 features a metronome function for basic practice sessions. It is considered an essential tool for a number of musicians spanning across genres and instruments.

With an optional pedal switch, the KR-11 facilitates start and stop, pattern change, and fill-in operations in pathands free mode. This allows you to effortlessly control the KR-11 hands free. In Pad Play mode, the pedal switch lets you play any drum tone for an authentic drum-like performance (bass drum and hi-hat are pre-assigned at the factory). The KR-11 also has a headphone and line-out jack, helping it connect to a PA, mixer, amp, or other devices. It is super easy to perform small guitar gigs using the KR-11 with a guitar amp.

The KR-11 features 16 pads with sounds of bass drum, snare, hi-hat, and cymbals. These pads can be used for an authentic finger-drumming experience.  The built-in velocity function responds to the strength of pad strikes, enabling you to replicate drum patterns. These pad performances can then be saved to the user bank, so you can play your favorite patterns at any time. Compact, battery-powered, and in-built speakers make the KR-11 an effortless machine that can be used to enjoy performances outdoors.
