Laowa 100mm T2.9 2X Ultra Macro APO Cine (FF) is a macro cinema lens with a 26.1° angle of view on Full Frame sensors. The large aperture of T2.9 is able to create a shallower depth of field. Its 2x magnification makes it stand out from the market, offering extra flexibility in shootings. Its step-less aperture ring offers smooth iris control. A standard 77mm filter thread is designed to mount screw-in filters easily. The industrial standard of 0.8 mod gears on both aperture and focus rings is also applied. It weighs around 957g.

Up to 2x Magnification

The100mm macro lens can focus infinity to 2x magnification along with a minimum focusing distance of 7.1cm (24.7cm) respectively. A lot more details of the objects can be captured. The combination of Macro and cinema lenses is rarely to be found in the market.

Apochromat (APO)

Design

The chromatic aberration (CA) at both in-focus and out-of-focus area (Longitudinal CA) is controlled to the minimal. The photos of less CA also avoid time-consuming post-production.
