Leica APO-Televid 65 Angled Spotting Scope
The Leica APO-Televid 65 Straight Spotting Scope is a powerhouse spotting scope with premium optical elements. It features a weather sealed housing, proprietary micro-focusing system, four fully multicoated apochromatic lens elements, and a Schmidt prism system. Leica's fluoride apochromatic glass is engineered to transmit luminous images that are geometrically flat and color-faithful across the entire visible spectrum. The magnesium-alloy chassis makes the Leica APO-Televid 65 Straight Spotting Scope rigid and durable while not adding much weight. The optical channel is nitrogen filled and o-ring sealed, and will stay waterproof up to five meters. The AquaDura-coated hydrophobic objective lens surface resists moisture accumulation by causing water to bead up and roll off the lens surface. The internal dual-focusing system enables the operator to control the focus of their scope with coarse or fine movements, ideal for digiscoping and nature observation. The APO Televid is a full-featured spotting scope for a wide range of recreational and professional glassing applications.
Perfect Glass
All spotting scopes incorporate fluoride lenses, resulting in very low dispersion and better correction of aberrations. APO-Televid scopes provide superior colour fidelity and image contrast.
Compact and Resistant
Portable, nearly indestructible spotting scopes with a length of only 30 cm. Leica Spotting Scopes are particularly handy and portable. Shocks and impacts are effectively absorbed by a magnesium-alloy chassis and resilient rubber-armour.
Precise Vision
Both spotting scopes allow users a very close view of their object of interest. Leica’s APO-Televid 65 offers particularly intimate moments on account of its short close focusing limit , the shortest in its class.
