With four HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs supporting 4K2K at 60Hz 4:4:4 Chroma resolution, this device allows users to quickly transition between sources using transitions like dissolve, fade, and wipe with no signal interruption.
Resolution, Input, and Output
The two 4K at 60Hz HDMI inputs on the BG-UHD-QVP-4X2 are HDCP 1.4/2.2 compliant. With the UVC outputs, monitoring is enabled via HDMI, USB 3.0, and 3.5mm stereo audio out. When using USB 3.0, video is output at 1080p at 60Hz resolution. With its high-resolution and low video noise, not only is this device great for sharing content in conference rooms and lecture halls, its USB 3.0 output makes it ideally suited for sharing content via conferencing software like Zoom, Google Meet, OBS Studio, vMix, Skype, as well.
Control
With the included control software, users can choose custom layouts, backgrounds, logos, source selection for each window, output resolutions, and network settings. Advanced EDID settings are available to streamline the installation process. The various control options for the device include the front panel buttons, IR remote control, and control software via RS-232 or Ethernet. Through these methods, the user can freely transition between sources using various transitions. Images can also be resized, panned, zoomed, and blended. The device also supports PIP, PBP, POP, full screen, and quad-view. Because of this control, utilizing multiple devices is easy with a great deal of flexibility. This flexibility also enables third-party control, opening the door to advanced automation and other possibilities.
